Why Commission Art?
Sometimes a piece needs to be more than something you discover — it needs to be made just for you. Whether it’s a mural for your home or business, a personalized gift, or a fiber tapestry to mark a milestone, commissions let us collaborate to create something meaningful and one-of-a-kind.
I especially love creating art that ties a space together — the brown of your couch, the cream of your walls, even that quirky throw pillow you’re not sure fits. One painting can harmonize everything, making your space feel intentional and complete.
Tapestries are another favorite — they can solve tricky wall spaces perfectly. For example, I made a custom tapestry for a stairwell in my own home, tailored to fit the tall, vertical wall exactly. Every tapestry I create is custom-sized for your space, so it feels like it was meant to be there.
